Children Groups: Dates, Times & Basic Information

From Monday 6th of September 2010 (please scroll down for a timetable), we are starting dance classes for children in the following locations:

- Hammersmith - POSK, 238-246 King Street, London, W6 0RF
- Acton - Reynolds Sports Centre, Acton High School, Gunnersbury Lane, London, W3 8EY
- Hounslow - Montague Public Hall, Montague Road, Hounslow, London, TW3 1LD

Children will be split into 2 age groups where possible:

- Children 1 - aged between 5 and 8 years old
- Children 2 - aged between 9 and 13 years old

Total fee will be just £60 for a 5-week term (which is equivalent to only £2.50 per class if you attend all 4 classes a week or £5 per class if your child is an average learner and attends lessons twice a week), which will allow everyone to take part in an unlimited number of classes per week in all our locations: Hammersmith, Acton, Hounslow and Hampstead.

All dance classes will be all-year-round, starting in September 2010 and divided into 5-week terms according to the following schedule:

- Term 1: 6th of September 2010 (Monday) - 8th of October 2010 (Friday)
- Term 2: 11th of October 2010 (Monday) - 12th of November 2010 (Friday)
- Term 3: 15th of November 2010 (Monday) - 17th of December 2010 (Friday)

- Christmas Break (no classes): 18th of December 2010 (Saturday) - 2nd of January 2011 (Sunday)

- Term 4: 3rd of January 2011 (Monday) - 4th of February 2011 (Friday)
- Term 5: 7th of February 2011 (Monday) - 11th of March 2011 (Friday)
- Term 6: 14th of March 2011 (Monday) - 15th of April 2011 (Friday)

- Easter Break (no classes): 16th of April 2011 (Saturday) - 1st of May 2011 (Sunday)

- Term 7: 2nd of May 2011 (Monday) - 3rd of June 2011 (Friday)
- Term 8: 6th of June 2011 (Monday) - 8th of July 2011 (Friday)

- Summer Break (no classes): starts on 9th of July 2011 (Saturday)

We plan to organise 3 open to public dance shows with our learners presenting the skills they learned during our classes at the end of:
- Term 3 (Christmas Dance Show)
- Term 6 (Easter Dance Show)
- Term 8 (Summer Dance Show)

The best learners will also take part in individual dance contests and auditions.
Additionally from January 2011, once a month we will be organising Saturday full-day open dance workshops for our learners (details will follow later).

Once registered (click on the BOOKING FORM tab) and signed-up for one of the above courses, your child can take part in all above dance classes if you wish him/her to learn better/quicker or enjoy our classes more often. It's a great offer as one class costs just £2.50* if you decide to come every time!!

General information.

Our dance school's main aim is to promote dancing through children and youth education. Profi-Dance Studios is a great place to develop children's interests in dance, body movement, rhythmics and all kind of activities involving music and its interpretation.

Methodology.

Profi-Dance teachers are educated at international level to provide children from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds with the highest possible dance skills. We teach our young learners using the most effective and motivating methodological approaches to satisfy our dancers ambitions and give them a chance to present their skills to the wider audience. All our dance teachers are also CRB cleared.

Shows and competitions.

Our best dancers in Juvenile, Junior and Youth categories can represent our dance school or even their countries on regional, national or international levels by taking part in various competitions and dance contests throughout United Kingdom and Europe. Children's participation in such dance tournaments can reward their efforts during trainings or practice sessions and may turn out to be a great challenge and fantastic way of spending free time for whole family.

The Organiser of the Course is Profi-Dance Studios, 238-246 King Street, Hammersmith, London, W6 0RF. b.) Participants will be children aged 5 - 13, boys and girls. Participants are not required to have any previous dance experience. b.) Participants can take part in all activities of the Course only with their parents' or legal carers'/guardians' consent. REFUND POLICIES a.) Full refund will apply when the Course is cancelled or re-arranged/postponed so that the participants can not take part in it. b.) Limited refund will apply when the participant cancels the participation in the Course before the start date of the Course once the fee has been already paid. Cancellation fee of £10 will be deducted from the participation fee to be refunded in that situation to cover administration and banking expenses. c.) No refund will be made to the participant cancelling his/her attendance in the Course once the Course started. d.) No refund will be given to the participant asked by the Organiser or any staff member to leave the Course due to not obeying the rules of proper behaviour. e.) In specific situations the Organiser reserves the right to cancel the Course, part of it (session or class), change the venue or date of the Course. In the event of any cancellation all participants will receive the refund of the participation fee (it refers to a whole Course) or equivalent for each cancelled part of the Course. SAFETY a.) The Organiser will make every effort to run all activities safely and securily. No third parties or persons without consent of the Organiser are allowed to take part in the Course. b.) Physical contact may be necessary by members of the teaching staff. Parents and legal carers/guardians of the participants can discuss this matter with the Organiser before or during the Course. c.)
